Sierah Joughin Memorial Scholarship for University of Toledo M.B.A. School Students

Congratulations to Tasia Lane and Scott Lawson who are the 2021 awardees.

In 2016, Sierah was a lively and ambitious college student, enjoying life as an Alpha Kappa Psi and studying business at the University of Toledo, planning to pursue her M.B.A. in the future. Her life was cut short when she met a tragic death at the hands of a local repeat violent offender.

The Sierah Joughin Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to award scholarships to students enrolled in the M.B.A. program at the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation, with a preference for individuals who are members of Alpha Kappa Psi, of which Sierah was a member. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.

Although Sierah wasn’t able to fulfill her career goals, we hope this scholarship ensures her legacy lives on by enabling other students the chance to fulfill theirs.

If you are interested in applying for The Sierah Joughin Memorial Fund scholarship, please visit the Neff College of Business and Innovation application site here.
